About Pocetude
Pocetude is a practice scheduler for musicians. It applies spaced repetition, the review-scheduling method proven for memorization, to the things musicians actually practice: scales, patterns and rhythms, with notation, playback and BPM tracking.
Pocetude is built and run by Daniel Ostertag, trading as Dakes Intelligence, in Augsburg, Germany. It is an independent, self-funded project: no investors, no ad tech, and analytics that run on our own hardware instead of someone else's cloud.
The scheduling approach is grounded in memory and motor-learning research. The details, with sources, are on the science page.
A longer story about how and why Pocetude came to be is coming soon. Questions in the meantime? See the contact details.
